Morrissey Win Decisive:

Joe Morrissey won the Democratic nomination for the 16th Virginia Senate District race in November. At this point there is no Republican opponent. The votes have not been certified, of course, but various outlets describe his win was by 12 to 14 points. A two digit win is rather indisputable.

Dougherty Win Very Close:

The apparent Democratic nomine for the 62nd Virginia House District is Lindsey Doughterty over Tavorise Marks. The race was close with reportedly only about a 3.5 % difference between the two. If Dougherty is confirmed as the winner then she will face Republican Carrie E. Coyner in November.

Ruff Wins Republican Primary for the 15th VASEN:

With little surprise, Frank Ruff took about 80% of the vote in the only Republican Primary in Prince George County. He will face Democrat Virginia Smith of Prince George in the November election.
