The Prince George Democratic Committee will hold its unassembled Reorganization Caucuses for the 3rd and 4th Congressional Districts on Monday, April 29th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Prince George County Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, Prince George in the 2nd Floor, Employee Lounge.

The purpose of each caucus is to elect up to 6 delegates and 3 alternates to each of the county’s 3rd and 4th Congressional Districts.  The delegates and alternates elected will represent the Prince George Democrats at the 3rd (Newport News)  and 4th (Chesapeake) Congressional District Conventions on May 18th.  At this convention the representatives from the various localities will be elected to serve on the Central Committee of the Democratic Party of Virginia.

All candidates wishing to serve as delegates to the 3rd and 4th Congressional District Conventions must prefile by April 22 at 5:00 p.m.  Prefiling forms, if mailed, must be received by April 22 at 5:00 p.m. or they may not be honored.  Postmark dates will not govern.  Pre-filing fee is $25.  Delegates must be registered voters in Prince George County in their respective Congressional District.
