October 26:  Meet & Greet November 7th Candidates, Leila R. Holmes running for School Board District 2 and William F. “Bill” Gandel, running for Board of Supervisors, District 2. Location:  Prince George County Library 6605 Courts Drive, Prince George, VA

October 26:  sponsored by the Friends of Burrowsville School, District 2 candidates, 7:30 pm, Burrowsville Community Center

October 29:  sponsored by the Women’s Club, 3-6 pm at the Disputanta Community Center

Festivals

Czech-Slovak Festival October 21 at the Prince George Heritage Center at 11 am

Richard Bland College Pecan Festival, October 28-29, Democrats Without Borders will have a booth.  Volunteers needed. 10 -5 on Saturday, 10 – 4 on Sunday

 

Volunteering

Canvassing (knocking doors in Prince George) Saturdays ( 9 am, 12pm & 3pm)-Sundays (12pm and 3 pm). Current meeting point is Scott Park.

Phone Banking in Prince George Tuesdays 5 to 8 pm, Prince George Human Services Building, 6450 Administration Drive.

New to these activities?  Not to worry.  Training is included.

 

Last Day to Register to Vote:  October 16

 

Committee Candidates need our support:

Floyd Brown, Jr. is running for the District 1 Board of Supervisor seat.

Leila Holmes is running for the School Board seat for District 2.

What can you do to support them?  Donate, make phone calls, knock on doors, encourage those in your circle to support them.

 

Sheila-Bynum Coleman (62nd) and Deborah Colaw (64th) Virginia House of Delegate Districts need our support, too.  Jump in.
