Ways to Vote in the June 23rd Democratic Primary:

  • At your regular Prince George Precinct Voting Place on June 23rd,
  • Absentee in-person at the Prince George County Registrar’s Office, 2nd Floor County Administration Building, or
  • Absentee by mail-in ballot

Regular in-person voting at usual voting place:

On June 23 every voting precinct in Prince George will have voting from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. There will be extra precautions, such as social distancing, disposable pens, and other measures as the circumstances dictate. There will also be curbside voting for disabled persons.

Absentee in-person at the County Administration Building:

This is an option for any Prince George Voter. The County Administration Building is technically closed through June 7th (that may be changed slightly depending on the course of the COVID numbers), but anyone wishing to vote absentee in-person may go to the lobby of the County Administration building and will be directed to the Registrar’s office to cast their Absentee ballot through Saturday, June 20th.

Absentee by mail-in ballot:

This option requires that the voter request an application for an absentee ballot from the County Registrar’s office (can be done by phone). When the voter receives the application, he or she completes the application for an absentee ballot. This application must be mailed in or delivered to the County Registrar’s Office. The voter will then receive an absentee ballot in the mail to be completed and submitted and in the Registrar’s office no later than 5 p.m. on June 16.

The mail-in absentee ballot may also be requested online at elections.virginia.gov. The voter will need to have their Virginia driver’s license handy to input their T number authorizing the DMV to send the voter’s signature to the County Registrar. This is a way to vote and be able to Stay at Home. Just have stamps and your driver’s license handy.
